About This Game
Another Eden Begins is a story-driven role-playing game that takes players on an adventure across different periods of time. Created by Wright Flyer Studios, the game follows Aldo as he sets out to rescue his sister, Feinne, after she is taken by the Beast King. His journey soon becomes much larger than he expected, sending him across the past, present, and future.
The adventure begins in the village of Baruoki, where Aldo and Feinne live peacefully. After Feinne disappears, Aldo follows her into the Moonlight Forest. A strange event then sends him through a tear in space and time, opening the way to a much larger story involving different eras and the fate of the world.
Exploration and storytelling are important parts of the experience. Players can travel through different environments and meet characters from various periods. The game features a total of 19 playable characters, allowing players to create their own party and combine different abilities during battles.
Combat uses a command-based system where players choose actions for their characters. Chain skills can create successive attacks, while the Another Force system allows the party to unleash a powerful series of moves. Choosing characters that work well together can make a difference during tougher encounters.
The game also includes character-focused quests that reveal more about the people Aldo meets. After completing the main story, players can unlock New Game+, which introduces additional content, a new character named Ramiu, and more than ten possible endings based on choices made during the adventure.
Other features include crafting weapons, armor, and food, as well as a cat catalog for recording feline companions discovered during the journey.
Overall, Another Eden Begins combines traditional RPG combat with time travel, character stories, and a large adventure spanning multiple eras. Its focus on exploration and choices gives players plenty to discover as Aldo continues his search for Feinne.
